I learned to weave in 1973. I loved that the image, structure, and materials were all interdependent. This discovery came to the forefront of my work as I began to learn digital Jacquard weaving 20 years into my studio practice. I’ve loved the weaving and the travel interests that it sparked.

Robin Muller joined the faculty of NSCAD in 1979. She taught weaving, specializing in complex structures and Jacquard weaving.

Robin’s artwork has been exhibited across the US and Canada as well as Norway, Finland, France, Germany, Korea and several countries in Africa. Her research interests include sustainable textiles and architectural applications of electronic textiles. She retired from teaching in 2015.
